“Shout out” to Fairborn Police Chief Roman

Sadly, it’s a rare thing to see people in power take their responsibility seriously and uphold the law. While the Greene County Sentinel News does its fair share of muckraking, we also want to highlight those individuals who help keep us free in the land of the free and the brave. Fairborn Police Chief Ben Roman recently took the time to train his officers to understand the rights of citizens and journalists under the First Amendment of the United States Constitution. All police officers should be familiar with the most foundational and fundamental laws of the land, so we commend Chief Roman for doing his part to protect our freedoms.
